Staley House has been in operation for over 20 years and enjoys an excellent reputation for providing quality care. We aim to enable older people to continue living as independently as possible by giving them care and support consistent with their needs.
Tameside Quality Framework – Enhanced Level
In December 2012 Staley House became an enhanced provider on the Quality Framework with TMBC. This means that we meet the highest standards set by the Council and will receive their full support when residents are choosing a care home. Click here for more details.
Staley House has the Dignity award and is experienced in offering respite care – just tell your social worker this is where you want to come. We also have the Six Steps award and experience in end of life care. This is important when the needs of your loved ones change and hospitalization can be avoided.
Several of our established residents, and most new applicants, now require higher levels of care and support than was originally planned for residential care services. We have responded to these changes by improving our staffing and services, without losing sight of our original aim.
We value each and every individual who comes to live at Staley House. All residents are assured that they will be treated with respect and dignity according to their individual needs and wishes.
Our Manager, Mrs. Louise Durber has over 15 years experience in care and recently achieved her Leadership Level 5 award. Our Deputy Manager is Carol Potts who joined us after a long career with Tameside social services in a variety of roles. They are assisted by loyal staff, many of whom have also served at Staley House for a number of years.
